In
1995 St. John's began a special small group ministry. The Together Groups
were born. These groups are made up of from 3-12 people who meet
regularly in homes and other locations with the following goals:
Caring Fellowship-
To encourage members to develop a close, honest and caring relationship
with others.
Bible Discussion-
To help members in different stages of Christian experience from
beginners to veterans make the Word of God an important part of daily
living.
Outreach-
To help members reach unchurched friends by communicating God's love
through the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a small group setting.
Prayer-
To teach and encourage members how to support and bear one another's
burdens in prayer.
Leadership- To develop leaders
who will in turn teach and train others to lead Together Groups.
